■ Competition is hot hot hot in the stompbox market at present, with some incredible bargains from manufacturers such as Danelectro and Behringer.

These offerings from Onerr might not represent such initially bonkers value, yet set their tone and build quality standards higher up the food chain; aimed closer in spec to the likes of Boss’s territory. There are no stand-out models that are destined to become future classics here, but it’s still a range of useable, capable and likeable pedals. For those reasons alone they come recommended, but add in the solid value-for-money factor, and the Onerr range shifts into the must-try category. Make sure you take a look at these pedals before the rest of the world cottons on. GB
